I met Bryce and Aubrey last year when I photographed her brothers wedding! It was wonderful to meet them then and I was beyond happy when they reached out once they got engaged for their photos. Both ODU graduates and him working in Colonial Williamsburg they wanted to do their engagement photos in a place that had special meaning to them…so Colonial Williamsburg it was! I so enjoyed walking around stopping all over to capture their photos. They had ideas which was great as we wanted to check out so many places! It was hard to narrow down this blog post as we spent quite a while together and took so so many photos and I’m kind of loving so many of them! I’m so excited for their April wedding next year!

Because having a Colonial Williamburg character and horse walk through your photo is totally ok!

All the little white fences around the houses I was in love… every one we could go into I think we did!

They had wanted to stop at this little bridge… I decided that climbing down and looking through the bottom of the house would be the ideal photo….I love it!

Bryce and Aubrey were great! After sitting on the log over the water, I figured – Let’s go a little more, and they willingly balanced themselves and stood up… was totally worth it. No one tripped, fell or got wet which means success!

This is one of my favorite photos…the light, the love and her look! She’s going to be a stunning bride!

This is where Bryce worked for two years – he’s a jeweler and not only designed but made Aubrey’s stunning ring! I can’t wait to see his creation of their wedding bands!

So the moment I saw this tree, I knew they had to be ‘in it’…. only to find out AFTER we took the photos the small sign… we did have to laugh but the tree was so tempting and gave us a gorgeous backdrop for photos.
