When I first met James and Valerie my thought was – they are the sweetest couple. So relaxed and simply in love and excited to be married! I was so glad they chose me to document their wedding day. I loved how they wanted their day to be beautiful, classy and incorporating a bit of history – especially at this venue. Mount Vernon Inn is always such a great location, the history that surrounds it makes you feel like you are back in that time! Valerie knew the type of dress she wanted, long, with sleeves and lace… and she found her dream dress as a handmade gown from Bulgaria. The invitations highlighting their venue and the history of Mount Vernon and a beautiful ceremony in both English and French to share James’s French background! To hear the a wedding ceremony in French is so romantic! From the gown to the classic black tie to her gorgeous hair, the hand stitched table numbers – the day was perfection!
